For whatever reason, there's been a lot of rustling about schema evo on the dju list.
I thought I'd draw attention to this thread: http://groups-beta.google.com/group/django-users/browse_thread/thread/bd1417a08e37774a/e157ea7b4a37b556 On dec 16, Victor Ng reported good progress towards a workable schema evo and asked for mentoring on his work. On dec 22, having received no reply from the SoC branch folks, he asked for commit access on the branch or a new branch. I'm not trying to force the issue, just trying to draw attention to someone actually writing code and asking for a bit of help finishing it up.
