Hi everyone, I have an abstract model EventComponent, and from this model I inherit two models - EventCollection (non-abstract) and Event (abstract). I also inherit from Event model and create non-abstract models, for example ClassEvent, LectureEvent e.c. I want to:
EventComponent.objects.all() that will return me all EventCollection objects and all ClassEvent, LectureEvent e.c. objects (so all those that are not abstract). First of all is it correct to say that abstract models don't have managers, and you have to add them manually? When I poke my EventComponent i can see that objects object is not defined. Second - how do I write a manager that will do this job for me? Or at least a direction where to dig would be good...
