Hi, I'm trying out python+django 1.1.1 on Windows 7 and I have trouble getting django-registration working. After logging in, request.user is AnonymousUser on Windows. And it works fine when I run it in Linux (request.user ends up as the one I logged in as).
I use RequestContext. And I start it up with manage.py runserver. Any hints on where to look for the issue? I'm not very familiar with the inner workings of django yet. And - is it supposed to work on Windows at all..? May be the first question. =) I have debugged it some, and it calls authenticate, login, and it all looks good that far. But after the login page has redirected (HttpResponseRedirect) to my "index view", that's where request.user is AnonymousUser - when running in Windows. Just before the HttpResponseRedirect call, request.user looks correct. Any hints are appreciated!
