Flatpages shows "FlatPage object" instead of friendly name

In the Flatpages list in the admin interface by default I see "FlatPage object" instead of, for instance, the title or URL field. Ditto with Sites. Is this supposed to be this way? I realize I could create a wrapper around the object and use a def __repr__(self) to take care of this, but just
