Yes. I did that some months ago, as I set up a devuan (beta 1). Afair, there was nothing problematic; just + changed CacheDir in acng.conf to where I wanted stuff, + added a backend_devuan with auto.mirror.devuan.org in it and + commented out CacheDir in zz_debconf.conf and then I've just used it.
