Just because a router uses IPv6, doesn't necessarily mean the ISP
supports it.

I missed a negative.
I can add that I have **no** problem connecting to the router via wifi.
ifconfig wlan2 shows both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.

This has worked for me and others. I don't know why Devuan gets into this
state!
