-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Hi folks,
I do not know if it is related to this probems but I remembered the discussion when I updated my laptops yesterday and suspend to ram did not work anymore. I have two laptops, both with devuan unstable and both with eudev. The only different is that one is running with the default kernel and the other has a own kernel build specific for this box and without initrd support. With both laptops, suspend to ram did work bevore yesterday upgrade. (I do never do more than suspend to ram as all other is unsecure as hell. Writing RAM content to unencrypted disk is a very, very bad idea.) Since yesterday, when I send the laptop with default kernel to sleep, it takes some time, than it kills the window manager (I use fvwm on all my systems) instead of locking with xscreensaver. After that it hand forever with blinking sleep indication. When I login in this state remotely via ssh and do a reboot, it goes instantly into sleep and I have to wake up to finish the reboot. The laptop with my own kernel seems to be not affected. It still works as before. Anyone seen the same? Does anyone have any idea?
