I was looking for the same thing and tried to apply this patch, but it
appears to be malformed. For example the patch context line:
as separate configuration...
starts with two spaces, when it seems like it should start with one.
I also tried v1 of the patch, but it failed form me
The patch moves the relevant code to after processing of command-line
arguments, but not reading configuration file(s). I can't think of any
reason why you wouldn't want to put
no-ident
into /etc/dnsmasq.conf
Have I missed something?
