Thanks much, it worked!

Hello,
I'm experiencing problems getting footnotes printed at the bottom of the
page. This problem has been discussed several times, but I couldn't find
a clear answer.
I (define bop-footnotes #t), but footnotes are still displayed at the
end of the chapter.

I can't seem to find a Basque localization file here, but using the German
(de) one as an example:
It currently reads
OK.
Thanks again.

As I said previously, do not use nested tables. Flatten them to single
table with row-spans and columns-
Instead of using the element, I rewrote my
document using nested tables...
That works fine with HMTL backend, but I still have
problems with print backend.
This time, I'm not able to compile at all. Probably
there is an error in the DSSSL stylesheets (they are not

P.S. That's assuming you meant HTML Help files (chms). There's no way
that I know of to go from DocBook to Winhelp.

It looks like print stylesheets doesn't support this element. And they
probably never will because DocBook 5.0 is based
Hi,
I'm trying to use the element...
It works fine with the HTML backend, but as I build
the printable version of my source, the generated document
contains the string " not supported".
I'm using DSSSL stylesheets 1.73.
Does anybody know if there is a work around?
Thanks,
Giuseppe
Hi,
When viewing a DocBook generated PDF with Acrobat reader, there is a
bookmark reproducing the TOC on the left.
Each chapter is represented by a line:
"Chapter 1. Foo bar"
In Basque language it gives:
"Atala 1. Foo bar"
When it should show:
"1. Atala, Foo bar"
I had a quick look at dbl1eu.dsl

In fact you need XSLT processor, DocBook XSL stylesheets and HTML Help
Workshop.
