Hi again,
Thank you very much! Great.
Having and setting a "$body.font.color"-like property
may still require additional setting of colors for eg.
tables, separator bars? Some of these seem to be
properties, $table.frame.border.color" .
Eg.:
param.xsl :
sidebar.properties
table.cell.border
Well, I submitted an RFE for it.

That's a good idea. Could that make it into the next release?

I'm surprised I haven't seen a bunch of complaints about this already.
My toolchain:
DocBook XSL 1.60.1
libxml2 2.5.1
libxslt 1.0.24
PassiveTeX 1.21(2003/01/17)
Under the latest implementations, PDF generation with PassiveTeX from
DocBook 1.60.1 is somewhat broke. I can get PDFs with

PSGML can't use XML catalogs, you must provide SGML catalog for it. So
you must have two catalog files one for PSG

Now when I tried it without OVERRIDE YES, it works. It seems my catalog file was

Don't mix SGML and XML catalog files. OVERRIDE YES is used in SGML
catalog files.

Ok, forget about that.
Since I'm a newbie please bare with me for a bit.
Will it work if my catalog file "catalog" has this content:
OVERRIDE YES
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/entity/release/1.0/catalog.dtd";>
http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/xml/4.2/docbook
Your IG-conrad-pacs.xml file is not well-formed. Close your include tags.

Opps. This is not URI. Try
file:///c:/tools/lib/docbook/xml/42/docbookx.dtd
or better setup catalog files to redirect to local copy of DTD

Hi,
I'm testing how to modularize a document using XInclude. I've read
http://www.sagehill.net/xml/docbookxsl/ModularDoc.html but haven't used any
customizations just the basic explained in the "Using XInclude" section.
When trying xmllint --noout --xinclude --postvalid IG-conrad-pacs.xml I ge

The short answer is "no". For reasons including security and
platform-portability (Macintosh computers prior to OS X did not have
environment variables, as I understand), the Java platfom does not support
reading environment variables. However, the JRE has a mechanism for passing
these properties

Hi,
I am trying to create PDF with all the font colors set
to a non-black default value.
At the moment, I cannot find a short way of
customizing all fo:block and other fo output in a
single place.
Is this possible?
