Looks like many of you use a pure-Java solution.
I've been developping a comprehensive, pure-java DocBook processing package
for 'normal' users, and the tools I chose are Xalan and Fop (because they're
portable).
With recent versions of Xalan and the DocBook XSLs I came up with this

Hi all,
Hmm, well, there seems to be a (screaming) demand for basic DocBook (XML)
processing docs. The fact is I've written a DocBook-app howto, er...
Tutorial... Whatever, originaly with OS X in mind, but finally it's not at
all OS X specific.
It describes a classic DB/XML processing chain usin
(This was about letting URLs hyphenate in DocBook FO output (e.g. PDF with
Fop). Should work anywhere.)

Hi all,
Here's my problem:
I'm using a driver file to introduce small hacks to the XSL, and there's two
thing I can't figure out:
** how can I make links (I mean, the links' URLs) hyphenate correctly in FO
output (I use Fop 0.20.2)?
I tried to modify the "ulink" template by adding a hyphen
Hi folks,
Happy new year and all the best.
In order to use docBook XML on OS X with my team, I've packaged everything
needed into an OS X package.
In fact's only Xalan and Fop with shell-script wrappers, and is quite
straightforward to use.
Once installed (everything goes to /Users/Shared/DocBo
solve these problems?
I've tried the to set to 1 (true) the various generate.*.toc parameters
found in Norman's XSL documentation without results (FOP even crashes for
some of them).
Any help welcome!
