But i transform it for "manual/platform/"!
So you can move it from "manual/" to "manual/platform/".
I think, it fit better to this place.
And i wrote a "index.xml" for the platform-docs.

this chunk of the install page is no longer accurate;
you can do ./configure --enable-layout=Debian --prefix=/blah
and that works fine, with all options being respected.

Word to the wise.
"tidy -mi -xml" is NOT recommended for tidy'ing up XML. It inserted
random line breaks all over the place, and a bunch of s everywhere
for no apparent reason.
