Bala,
Welcome! I have set up an account for you on ODFAuthors. You should
receive an email with a link to set your password.
I will let you know when I have a chance to set up an account for you
on Alfresco, if someone else doesn't do it first.
As Tom said, most of us are working on ODFAuthors a
I had a few minor changes in addition to JohnS's, so I have added mine
to his file, accepted his changes, and published the result to the
wiki (ODT and PDF) and the ODFAuthors website. If further amendments
are needed, they can be made during the v3.5 update.

John, I would appreciate your checking my changes, most of which are

Thanks.

Getting Started and Writer Guide are being finalised for LO v3.4.5, so
you will need that version of the software, NOT v3.5, which is the
latest version available from the LO website. If you don't already
have v3.4.5, you can get it here (for Windows):

I should have added that there are several chapters of the Writer Guide in
Drafts that need help and further review. I did a bit but not enough, and I
left some notes on things I know need to be done. Anyone is very welcome to
work on them, and I would particularly appreciate input from JohnS.
I KNOW ,,, avi is the same :))

Hi Tom
Well, it's been updated from 3.3 to 3.4. Only 1 graphics replacement.
Some added content. A couple of queries regarding the Scenario frame as
I'm unsure of the formatting for it. The layout is a little
questionable, I didn't want to alter stuff I knew too little about.

Hi :)
Welcome in! :) Hopefully people will set you up with logins for the websites
at ODFAuthors and Alfresco. I think most people are still using ODFAUthors
although they are trying to move to Alfresco when it becomes convenient for
whichever chapter they are working on.

Nicely done :) Which stage is it in? Does it need proof-reading? Could a new

Hi Guys,
I am new to this list and would like to know how I can kick off in contributing
to this end of LibO. I know this is a noob question but is there also a way to
access forum archives?

Hi :)
Mkv is a container. That allows you to add an srt file(/s) or other subtitles
and potentially have the various audio and even video files inside the same
file together.
It's a bit like being able to open .Odt files as though they were zipped files
and then see the various different ele
