Hi Chris, thanks for picking this up.
1. At the moment there is no way to tell from the Software GUI app that
an application is a snap or a deb. Snaps are prioritised, and so will
appear at the top of the list when doing a search. But there is
currently no way of telling the packaging format fr
ack. I will speak to Robert Ancell and ask him to summarise.

There was a change needed in Ubiquity as well, and that has been done.
It was actually a revert, so translations were already done.

It's worth noting that the current alt-space functionality (move,
minimize, maximize etc) will be exposed via the HUD. So that
functionality will remain.

Window controls to move to for now. This was chose as
it is in a similar post for the majority of keyboard layouts and is near
to the space bar.

After the Ubuntu font upgrade the clock in the panel seems to be smaller
than it was.
If I switch the clock to also show the date then the font size goes back
to normal.
