the Wal Mart lobby a kid next to me put a quarter into a machine to get a
surprise in an egg, when suddenly the chickens in the machine sang out "China
Grove" and out came the surprise Top that one!!!

Hmmdidn't Bananarama also do a cover of the song "Venus", originally
done by Shocking Blue?
Geez, knowing who sang the original is an argh :-)

I've heard that the Dixie Chicks have done a version of "Black Water" in
concert but haven't recorded it on either of their albums.

Hi All~
I think Carly Simon did a version of "It Keeps You Running"...

Name artists who have covered the DB tunes. Here are 2:
--The Isley Brothers--Listen To The Music
--Hootie And The Blowfish--Long Train Runnin'
This list includes sampling of any part of the music by the Brothers and/or
alumni members as well as popular bands who perform renditions in their set
This is absolutely true. In northern Minnesota near the Canadian border,
there are two little towns called Fertile and Climax. After an unfortunate
incident up there years ago, a newspaper ran this headline:
Fertile woman dies in Climax.

Hi Everyone:
From the VH1 website, the following times are Eastern Standard for the Doobie
Brothers show:
11:00 AM, 9:00 PM & 11:00 PM.
Hope this helps with any party plans.
I can't wait!

Man, I need to get off the digest. I did realize Rick was kidding. My post was not
supposed to be taken seriously either. As a transplated Bay Area boy I don't usually
think about this north south rivalry thing. Sorry if I upset anyone.

Be careful on E-bay when ordering this VHS tape. I ordered one from a guy in New York
and even asked him before bidding if it was a commercial tape or one he made, of
course he lied. The picture quality is very poor and the sound is the same. Just
thought I'd let you know. Happy Monday!!
Very generous offer. I might have to fly out from Dover, De and take you up
on it.
Seriously, I hope you get a house full of fan club members.
Steak, anyone!
