I should post when we next have a meetup and maybe we can get some DLUG

Reply to your post set out below. I have a contact there as well, but maybe

I guess it would be possible to have a mini-like DLUG Unconference in an

I'm about half an hour walk to the Uni so buses aren't a problem for me, I
can walk it, but looking at the bus timetables, the last U1 back to
Bournemouth is at 22.10 (half an hour service until then) and the last U2
back to Poole is also at 22.10 so probably too early?

Hi,
I think eleven of us turned up through the evening, though not everyone
was there at once, and one of those was a girlfriend. :-) Initially
there was some function on and it was packed, but it emptied a lot after
half an hour or so.
Just a few of the things that got mentioned.

Hi all,
I have an old computer that I don't want. It has 110G hard drive,
floppy drive, CD burner, DVD reader and ethernet card. If anyone is

In the past I've tried the public transport option of using buses in this area
and unfortunately they can pretty well do as they please. So without any prior
warning they just don't turn up. This becomes more like russian roulette the

best regards,
It's a no-goer for a simple reason: buses don't always show up when they
should, therefore I would NEVER rely on one timetabled bus and one only.
Yes, if it doesn't turn up, I could take a cab but that would make for an
evening far too expensive.
It's all good for people not catching the bus sayin
