I had the same problem on my HP
I have 9.10 (NBR=Net Book Re-mix , is that the same as UNR ?) on a eePC
900A and it works very well.
What are you using ?

The Via chips are pretty poor performers, if you are getting it to do
large amounts of graphics work without offloading things onto a GPU
