Position: Java with TIBCO Developer Location: San Jose, CA Required: 1 Duration: 6 Months + Due By: Immediate Start: ASAP Notes: Duration : Job Description Work in advanced development projects that will prototype a system to provide soft real-time feed of performance metrics and alerts on calls, services and resources deployed in a large-scale, multi-datacenter environment. Job Requirements Design, analyze and prototype distributed system software on top of an event stream processing engine with integrations with TIBCO Rendezvous and other messaging products. This system is intended to provide a soft real-time feed of performance metrics and alerts on calls, services and resources deployed in eBay's large-scale multi-datacenter environment. Must have strong background in and knowledge of object oriented design and implementation, operating systems, networking, and distributed systems. Must have strong programming skills in Java, SQL, and scripting languages. Work in a very small and close-knit team. Must be a self-starter requiring little supervision. Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus. Experience with Complex Event Processing or Event Stream Processing technologies a must. Knowledge of TIBCO Rendezvous, ActiveMQ, and systems infrastructure (Load Balancers, Servers, Application Servers, etc.) is a big plus. Experience and Education 8-10 years of experience building non-trivial distributed systems software. MS in CS or equivalent field.
