Meet with clients to gain an understanding of their business needs. Perform gap analysis to identify possible enhancements to existing reporting functionalities, analyzing various complex business areas/functions. Mentor associates within the team and continually and enhance team member’s skills and competencies. Stay abreast of industry related data initiatives and the latest tools for managing data, reporting, and analytics. Document the clients’ business needs in the form of formal requirements and/or use cases and work with the developers/designers to develop appropriate solutions; while ensuring the solution supports all affected business units. Manage the expectations and priorities of clients and work with them to negotiate design aspects that will meet or exceed their needs while considering the impact to core software. Work within the constraints of time, cost, scope and quality. Ensure on-going communication and positive working relationship with clients throughout the project life cycle. Lead the training of all levels of internal/external clients on all aspects of reporting, analytics, understanding the data model, and toolkits. Facilitate communication between members of the project team, both internal and external, on project issues and expectations. Review and test client data to determine the validity of the data, which includes negotiating possible solutions to problems, offering suggestions to the client, and recommending needed changes to the system. Provide subject matter expertise for user oriented documentation and for creating well-structured client specific documentation following AURA Technologies’ standards. Participate in multiple projects simultaneously, appropriately balancing priorities and deliverables. Develop and complete special projects as assigned. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. *Required: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience 8+ years IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, with emphasis on Data Analysis and reporting Preferred: 10+ years IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance LOMA Certification; Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience Experience with Microsoft BI Platform Advanced Word, Excel and SQL/Query skills Experience with Microsoft BI reporting tools Advanced project management skills Experience with and comfort with working in both Waterfall and Agile development environments. Advanced data analysis skills Advanced oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge. Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
