Position Overview:

The client recently implemented SAP BPC for business planning needs and
processes.

*Essential Job Functions:*

1. Document business requirements, and analyze requirements with users 2.
Translate business requirements in to solution requirements and
specifications 3. Discuss solution options with users 4. Determine the
integration needed with other WBG systems to solve the business needs 5.
Design and develop the necessary models, cubes, input-forms, business
process flows, VB macros, reports, BADIs and data interfaces from BW 6.
Develop mechanisms to transform and load data from BW in to BPC 7. Enhance
existing system functionality and resolve production issues 8.
Develop/update test cases for the solution 9. Develop/update user guides
for the functionality developed 10. Document solution design and how the
solution is to be used 11. Maintain user roles and authorizations in the
system; and perform other administrative activities



*Educational Qualifications and Experience:*

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree is a must; 2. Further education in
Financial planning or Accounting is a plus 3. Role Specific Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in automating business planning
processes that includes two of any of the following planning processes a)
Budget formulation b) Revenue/Expense c) Staff cost planning d) Activity
planning and e) Capital investment planning 4. BPC development experience
must include SAP BPC NetWeaver version 10.x and BW 7.4 on HANA



*Certification Requirements:*

• SAP certifications is a plus



Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Candidate should have development experience in minimum two of any of
the following planning processes a*) Budget formulation b) Revenue/Expense
c) Staff cost planning d) Activity planning and e) Capital* *investment
planning*

2. Must be skilled in gathering and translating business requirements in to
solution specifications

3. Hands-on experience in designing Dimensions, Models, input-forms,
reports, business process flows, workflows for business needs conforming to
the product standards

 4. Ability to maintain and configure environment

 5. Ability to create custom data manager packages

6. Ability to configure currency conversion business rules

7. Ability to prepare good test cases

8. Ability to *write macros in BPC reports and input forms *

9. Ability to create user manuals and impart training to business and admin
users

10. Ability to perform and configure SPRO Parameters for Environment and
Application Level

11. Ability to design and configure transformation and conversion files

12. Ability to develop, test and debug BADIs 13. Ability to design and
configure roles and authorizations

14. Ability to enable self-service capabilities in BPC and train users on
the same

15. Perform system administrative functions in BPC and train users on
activities appropriate to them

16. Proper knowledge of the *SAP FI, FM and CO objects, structures, data
sources and flows*

17. Proficient in the planning processes to guide users on using BPC
effectively to meet their needs conforming to the product standards

18. Proficient in budgeting, forecasting and financial consolidation

19. Ability to educate users on the various options in the product and
their pros and cons

20. Design the integration of BPC with other SAP and non-SAP systems

 21. Should be able to conduct workshops for both planning and financial
consolidation

22. Understanding of the overall information management architecture with
components like BW and MDM

23. Ability to understand perform BW work in terms of modelling 24. Ability
to debug and understand ABAP code

 25. Ability to analyze ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ business processes, complete
complex business design for gap / interfaces and configure system based on
user requirements



Desired Skills/Abilities (not required but a plus): 1. *Head count
management in PeopleSoft 2. Development of BW reports 3. Managing
requirements and test cases in HP Application Life-cycle Management (HP
ALM) 4. Retraction to ECC 5. Extraction from ECC*
