Applies appropriate tools and methods for capacity planning & performance management of applications. Analyzes capacity data and identifies common capacity problems or bottlenecks. Works with developers and users to plan resource requirements for networks or systems under development. Assesses the relationship between capacity, performance and service level requirements. Participates in the gathering and documenting of statistical measurements. Uses common statistical terms such as variance, standard deviation, and correlation. Analyzes and interprets common statistical data and reports. Trains others on tools and techniques for monitoring and managing service or system capacities. Interacts with engineers to create Preliminary and Comprehensive Design Review documents for AEG projects effecting systems within POPs and Broadcast Centers. Works with teams to determine scaling of End-to-End, Partner Integration and Subsystem testing as well as Development environments. Experience with tools such as BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization, Splunk, AppDynamics, vSphere, Cloudera Manager, Ambari, Oracle Enterprise Manager, OEM Cloud Control, WLS Administration Console, Oracle Service Bus Dashboard, Client Openview is desirable.
