*Manual QA Tester with AS/400 exp (Locals to WI)*




I am looking for the Manual QA Tester, Madison, WI.  The manager highly
prefers someone local because an *in person interview is required*. The
candidate must have experience with an *AS/400 platform *and has to be
comfortable navigating through it.  They will be doing manual testing but
they will also be working with Automated Test Developer.



*Rate: $30\hr***

Duration: 6 month contract but can get extended

Start Date: Mid January

Submittal Deadline: Monday 12/7/09 COB





* Testing will also be needed for software enhancements.  This will expose
the individual to all AS/400 system applications as well as some Java and
Informatica work.  This testing has a smaller scope, shorter turn around and
requires a lot of interaction with the Development and User groups.

Both open positions will most likely work in both areas (project and
software enhancements).  The following qualifications are requested.

Qualifications:
- 2 years QA Analyst experience
- Experience creating and running SQL scripts
- Previous experience analyzing requirements, writing test plans and cases
and executing test cases
- Experience with the AS/400 including running jobs, validating databases,
- Firm understanding of SDLC

Preferred Qualifications
- QA Certification
- Previous insurance industry experience
- Previous experience with ClearQuest error tracking software
- Previous experience using RUP***
