The individual in this position is knowledgeable in all aspects of the Data Warehouse development life cycle, ETL architecture, technologies and processes and business intelligence technologies. The individual is confident in developing requirements and design specifications. The individual in this position is capable of serving as a technical lead in the integration of solutions, designing systems, and developing new business opportunities. "Responsibilities: * Data Warehouse architecture and design, relational database design. * Data modeling (logical and physical) * Dimensional modeling * Online analytical programming (OLAP) architecture and design. * Relational database design * Decision support * Analyze, define, and document technical requirements. * Architecting solution options * Review high-level architecture options with business clients and other technical experts * Develop and document architectures. * Development of work effort and cost estimates. * Establish auditing procedures to ensure continuity and integrity. * Assist in post-implementation continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality * Work with ETL developers and oversee detailed design Skills and Knowledge: - experience with: Teradata, Informatica, ETL, Oracle, SQL, Data Stage * Ability to source data from legacy systems * Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs * Good written and verbal communications and presentation skills * Working knowledge of one or more multi-user, multi-tasking operating systems * Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects * Comprehensive knowledge of Data Warehouse development methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon Thanks & Regards sandi Recruiter G Technologies Inc. 4340 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose, CA 95129.
