It kind of depends on your user back-end I think. But for example, I'm using MySQL for my user/pass lookups. I would just make a column for pop3s, imap, and imaps and tailor the sql statement in dovecot-mysql.conf to only allow a user to login if 'pop3s'='1'. My two cents. Tom Armijn Hemel wr
