Hi,
I'm running dovecot on an Ubuntu server (1:1.0.5-1ubuntu2). Dovecot
provides pop3, imap, and sasl to postfix. The setup works quite
nicely, however I do have one error that shows up repeatedly in my
dovecot.log.

I've problems running Dovecot 1.1beta11 using vpopmail userdb/passdb
(Dovecot 1.08 however works just fine).
It looks like as if the auth process gets killed somehow...
Any ideas what might be wrong?

I have done some more testing. It appears that %'s don't work for me when it
comes to quota_warnings. I have tried using the default (kB), 'b', bytes=
and a few more over time. However it was the % that has caused me problems.

Well, As I've told in my previous message I think that there is a
problem in the code that handles quota_warnings, the quota_rules works fine.
If you activate DEBUG in the plugin you can see debug values for the
quota_rule settings, but unfortunately not for the quota_warning ones.

Hmmm. I managed to get this working with messages=70 - which is easier to
debug at least. Think I'm nearly there getting storage sizes to work (think
I may have misunderstood the maildirsize file), then I'll try back in 1.0.8.

I have managed to get dovecot to start and work with the quota-rewrite
following Juan's advice.
However, I don't get any warnings triggered. Under the quota-warnings patch
it worked. I changed my 10%% to be 90%% and the storage settings a few times
and restarted dovecot. Looking at the code it
