I'm trying to setup a dovecot proxy through and LDAP server.
I'm already using Perdition and it works very well but I would like to setup
dovecot proxy for managesieve capabilities
(http://wiki.dovecot.org/ManageSieve?highlight=(sieve)|(proxy)#Proxy)
The version of dovecot is 1.1.16

If you have both of these enabled, Dovecot completely ignores
pass_attrs. So if you want auth binds, you need to disable

instructions from http://wiki.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/dbox.
But in two folders i'm delete index.cache and index.log files, this is
my mistake.

Perhaps maildirsize files format were corrupted.
I am disappointed that the new debian stable has dovecot 1.

Not reliably without modifying source code. You could use dict quota
with all users in a domain sharing the same dict configuration, but if
the quota for some reason becomes out of sync,

There's no such error string in Dovecot. Do you maybe mean "Unknown
parameter"?
Set auth_debug=yes and mail_debug=yes and show me what it logs when
