'doveadm move' might help here?

With NFS, mdbox can be a lot faster solution, but it does require
backups. Mostly because \Seen flag is lost if you lose all indexes. The
actual mails can be reconstructed.

I'm facing some issues on mdbox based backups. Backups are failing with dbox
corruption messages. SiS is the greatest advantage though. However backups
integrity is very important. If SiS/Deduplication is not a requirement stick to
Maildir.

It can be faster when a user deletes or moves a large number of messages.
One reason why I migrated a few sites is that when reporting issues with
maildir on this list, there seems to be lack of
Hello,
I've got a Dovecot virtual email setup using maildir as the mailbox
format. I am wondering from others who have chosen dbox a comparison
between maildir and dbox or those who have migrated from one format to
another. I am wondering if changing to dbox would be beneficial?
Thanks.
Dave.
Hello,
I've got dovecot 2.3 going and a mailbox with a lot of system messages
in it. What I'm wanting to do is massively move them to another
mailbox. Is this doable with sieve?
Thanks.
Dave.
By changing the postfix main.cf setting from the default:
default_destination_recipient_limit = 50
to:
default_destination_recipient_limit = 1
it solve the issue.
Do you think it's a postfix issue so I have to use their mailing list?

Hi,
I have two dovecot servers that are configured to be replicated using
dsync over ssh. This has been working well for a long time.
Recently I changed the mail_home path on one of the servers, because of
mail data migration. The old file system is still available, but has been
made read-only
I use dovecot-lmtp and postfix. When I send e-mail to 2 recipients (or more) at
the same time and if one of them is over quota (or under quota and the message
I send is bigger than his free space) mailq shows:
-Queue ID- --Size-- Arrival Time -Sender/Recipient---
20B03336F22
I think I'm progressing: if I create a brand new user, send her an
email, it will not be indexed right away. I need to doveadm rescan /
index the Inbox before.
At the end of this email, a dovecot's debug log snipset (grep'ed on this
user). In it I can read: "Debug: fts: Indexes disabled for
