Perhaps I misinterpret your command above. But it isn't the folder you
want to rename, but the file containing the message itse
rs is:
mkdir ${path}/${name}/tmp
mkdir ${path}/${name}/cur
mkdir ${path}/${name}/new
Where ${path} is the path to the parent folder and ${name} is the name
of the Maildir.
That's really all there is to it.

Hi all,
I'm migrating from one system to another. Both are Arch Linux, but
copying the configurations and just modifying them for IP addresses
and hostnames didn't work.
Here's doveconf -n

Hi all,
Apologies if a duplicate message. I initially sent the following from
a non-subscribed email address (my usual address, but not the one that
works when I'm having trouble with mail).
First, I'm pretty sure I screwed up something with dovecot.

Thunderbird is initially pretty stupid about what it labels as junk.
As you unmark non-junk and mark actual junk, it gets better, but never
27;m aware of, all of these are
problematic.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my request. And I apologize that this
message isn't properly threaded.
I'm in trouble whenever I have to send mail from my gmail account because I
automatically pull it down into the same place from which I send my regular
mail (from benf...@parts-unknown.org )

Thanks Bill,
I thought I'd gotten that. I guess, not enough sleep.
So now, when attempting to connect, I'm getting this in the log (and
hurray, I'm now getting far enough to at least have something in the log):
dovecot: 2008-04-17 20:24:41 Error: IMAP(benfell): Namespace 'folders/'
mail storage
eron) and it is:
starshine# dovecot --version
1.0.10
starshine#
I'm simply mystified. What now?
