I have a problem I was not able to resolve with my current setup (quite basic,
the relevant part appended [1]).
When userA shares a folder with userB then userB cannot access his mailbox.
It's the same problem others have mentioned in

I have used ext4 and never had problems with it for ages. Since recent times I
also use ZFS on linux, but it's a bit slower and eats lots of RA
