I’d like to synchronise our mail store to an Amazon S3 bucket or similar, for protection from ransomware. Server is running on macOS with maildir. Should I use a Dovecot process, rsync, a Mac app like Arq or Jungle Disk, or something else? Anyone have experience or opinions on this? Thanks,

I’m thinking of getting Solr working with my Dovecot server. Server is new 6-core Mac Mini, mail store of over 1/2 TB. Mailboxes with 100s of thousands of messages. But I’m not sure if: a) it will make enough of a difference and b) does Mail.app and other mail clients on Macs or iOS devices

Have updated our mail server and are now running Dovecot 2.3.4. Things are mostly working OK, but occasionally I have users on latest iOS getting this message: “this message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email
