Ubuntu Linux 16.04 LTS reaches the end of its five-year LTS window on
April 30th
2021, therefore we're planning to switch to 20.04 LTS by the end of this
year...
and this is one of the few applications without a repo. Thanks in

- Have you checked that port 12345 as specified below is open/forwarded
and actually /used/ by dovecot (e.g., use "netstat -tulpn|grep dovecot")?
- Did you retrace your steps and have you verified that synchronisation
works with ssl disabled?
- Did you verify your certificate files (
