You're right. I wrote the googlespell add-on a long time ago, and it was
simply a 'search' that required more than a single .xml.
Needless to say, I don't use googlespell anymore. :/

I think that's probably pretty close to being accurate. In fact, I
bet I could rewrite iptools as a "search" to keep in line with DQSD
convention. iptools doesn't use anything special, really.

I wonder if addons are simply searches that require additional files,
beyond the .xml spec? It seems so, looking at the existing ones. Other
than that, I don't see how being an addon would allow greater reach
than a search, except perhaps by convention.
