MIne has a fair amount as well,but hard to say unless we sit them side by
side. Dont notice it when listening to signals though...What mine does have
and you will likely also notice is some poping sounds as you tuneits
annoying and apparently fixed on the later versionsif you find a fix
I have been given a Drake R8 to evaluate for a friend. The first thing I

1 - By chance, does anyone have a T4XC faceplate thats not in use and
you are willing to part with? Or maybe a T4XC parts radio with a good face?
2 - Is there a source for cabinet screws that most folks use ? I need
about 9 of them.
