Hello list...I recently acquired a nice R4C,but it has some issues...I powered up slowly on a variac,but the filter caps were hopelessly shot. I replaced with a Sherwood filter cap kit.I have far less hum,but it's still there,just not as bad(I can hear reciever hiss now). Would a power suppl

  I've got a Sherwood Engineering Filter marked with the following:  Drake-S 8 Pole 1000hz I was told it would not work in my TR-6 so I can't use it.  I would swap it for just about any Collins S line filters or a TR-6 filter.  Or?  Contact me off list so I don't ga
