You can use 8 ohm headsets if you install a 100 ohm resistor in series. I
have done that as well as used aircraft 600 ohm headsets.

Hello, I have a T-4XC and a R-4C both with a problem that hopefully
someone can help me resolve.
T-4XC problem: When you switch to the tune mode, then back to
the ssb mode, the relay will not release. It stays in the tune mode and the only
