I have had a few Drakes through my shack over the years and have noticed something I would like to bring to the collecting community that I have not seen discussed before. The Drakes that I have had with really good and or pristine chassis, were typically from (when I could follow it back)

Ron, you're 100% correct - nothing kills electronics like dust. I've been keeping my B Line and my newer radios clean by covering them and opening them up to clean them every once in a while as well. Happy New Year and Happy QSOing in 2010 to my fellow Drake lovers! 73, Jude WD9FUM
