Hello,
I'm hoping someone could get me pointed in the right direction with regard
to my T-4XC. I've been achieving 100W or above (depending on the band) from

Does anyone on the list have some shortwave crystals for the R4 series lying

for them.
Thanks much and very 73.

Sounds like wear in the vernier drive. The steel balls tend to wear a
groove in the center shaft after 40 years or so.
You may be able to get a repair kit from John Kriner, I don't know if he
still has them. 'The Man's Amateur Parts Supply' or 'tr7dude' on eBay.

The red pointer doesn't want to move past the 15 mark on the dial face. If I
apply some light upward pressure to the bar connected to the three tuning

The dimple in mine is quite worn and unattractive so I'm looking to replace it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
5-NB blanker and preselector dial decals have been found but I'm still in the
market for an SCC-4 calibrator. I understand that there's some "universal" ones
