Hi All,
My TR-3 does not indicate sufficient S Meter reading. I have been through the
allignment procedure and changed out V 11 with no improvement. The S meter
seems to read 10 to 15 db below what it should. Any Ideas?
Thanks,

Some white lithium grease will help keep them in place as you add more.
There should be ten bearings in the front. You may have to adjust the
end-play adjustment at the back end of the gearbox. There is an Allen

Greetings Drake aficionados,
I have spent several hours trying to put the little bearings back into the
front of a Drake C-Line PTO with no success. Is there a published procedure

written up, or even discussed on this list,
I haven't had the time to go through my problematic PTO in my R-4A yet - I'm in
the middle of some remodeling that seems to be taking much of my time right now.

suggestions.
Thanks much all and very 73.
Still enjoying my C line:
Kevin :)

Several people have recently been discussing the problem of a TR-7 with an
incorrect frequency read-out. I had a similar problem on my R7 -- the frequency
display, and the actual received frequency, were exactly 2 MHz too low on all
bands except 0, 0.5, 1.0, 5.0 and 21.0 MHz.

Hi All,
This is slightly off topic for a Drake list but I've heard you mention the
Heath Kit Shop on this list before so am taking a chance. I have a Heath
1410 keyer that was given to me by a friend. He also lent me his AC line
cord for it but needs it back soon. When I went to Mike's web sit
