[Drakelist] 2C Audio Problem

My 2C has been working fine. This morning when I turned it on, the audio is rather loud, there's some hum that wasn't there, the AF Gain control has no control over the volume and when muted by my 2-NT the hum is louder through the speaker. When the AF Gain control is turned either full up

I have recently acquired a Heath HG-10B VFO to use with my 2-NT transmitter. I have read Roy Vickers KF5YU excellent article Connecting the Heathkit HG-10B to the Drake 2-NT. The only question I have is where in the 2-NT should the 250VDC be tapped to supply the HG-10B's B+ power? Thanks

[Drakelist] Drake 2-NT to Heathkit VF-1 VFO

I'm looking for a VFO for my new to me 2-NT. I've read where several older VFOs will work with some modifications, mainly converting to grid block keying. Has anyone had experience with the old Heathkit VF-1? I believe it has to be modified for grid block keying but I'm not exactly sure
