The mesh plate 6EJ7's were mostly made in Europe by Amperex. They are very good tubes. Sylvania 6EJ7's seem to work well. I have not had good luck with GE manufactured 6EJ7's. When Rob Sherwood orders 6EJ7's from me he only wants Sylvania. However, I've had very good luck with the Euro 6E
