The Aux 7 can be bypassed by cutting one trace on the mother board,
opening up the TR-7 for general
coverage t/r. See archives for details.

Much of the drift in the TR-7 is due to the dial pilot lamp heat. It
can be eliminated by simply removing
the lamp. I always wanted to replace the lamp with a "super bright"
white LED (no heat) to see if
that might be the solution - maybe you all can try it.
