Got mine today too, and the originals back as well.
Joe used my original Drake Log books for the master,
NOW I have some I can write in, HI HI, and the
others go back in hiding.

Tomorrow, Friday May 13th, the Tonight Show will feature a message

This would indicate that a much smaller number of SW-4's
may have been built making it perhaps the rarest Drake
production radio known.
As of yet I have not heard of a SW-4 with a S/N greater than 225 or a SW-4A
of less than 230.
Make's one wonder where they meet, hi hi.

at one-tenth the cost of the Drake. ( I still have it!)
Still I dreamed of someday owning a Drake receiver
and like many of us now I do, many times over, HI!

For a total of 528 Factory built TR-5's, out there,
somewhere.
Plus a little Duck told me one more was built
from NOS parts just for fun long after
the factory stopped production.
Many Thanks to all that have sent in their
TR-5 Serial Numbers, and a spe
y. It would
be interesting to find more numbers to fill in this
gap. Also if someone from Drake would know and share
the story about the missing TR-5's.
Everybody have a great weekend and if the TR-5 S/N
list grows I will be sure and let everybody know.
