I just received a t4x-c with several problems. I fixed the problem with the crystal wafer. The coupler on the bandswitch had come loose or was tampered with. Looks to be the original frake crystal for 80 meters but I can't slip the dial enough to get it on frequency. I am off by about 5 kc still...
I have a low output problem with a tr4c where the output problem is most acute on 80 with 40 being 50% better and 20 seems to be just fine. The problem gets progressively worse as the rig warms up. Very strange...The receiver seems to work fine.
Anyone had the same problem? and if so what did yo
