I pitted my R4a against the R8 and found the R8 hearing signals the R4A missed. A weak signal from Radio New Zealand on 6170 was faint but there on the R8, only static with R4A. is the R8 noted for better sensitivity or noise level? It is a lot newer of course with every bell and whistle.
