I recently found (at Fry's Electronics) some BNC female to RCA male
adapters which are small and light. A short piece of that military
RG-174 with BNC connectors makes a neat and light adapter for the R4
series. The military RG-174 seems plentiful at hamfests. Or, just
solder up a standard
Don't forget an antenna relay if you will be using a transmitter so you
don't accidentally put RF power into the receiver!
