Many thanks to all who kindly replied with helpful information on the finish of their MN-2000s. The case will be on its way to Hartzell Manufacturing later in the week and I think I'll ask them to put on a B-Line epoxy finish for authenticity, since my serial number is in the 28xx range. Than

Hi Mike, I have 3three MN-2000s. They have a slightly textured finish similar the the B and C lines and the L-4B. I would classify a smooth finish as the one on the A line. 73, John, W4AWM
