Dick: There is an error in the R7 alignment instructions in the R7 service manual. If someone ever followed these instructions on your or Everet's R7 in the past, the R7 would sound just as you described. I have the correction to the instructions at home. Right now I'm traveling and can't get to

Drakelist de PA2DW, I am using a R7 in combination with my TR7 for some time now, with utmost satisfaction. What I do notice though, is the difference in the way the R7 sounds in comparison with the TR7 receiver. Especially with the AGC in position fast, the audio sounds very much like
