Hallo I have got a problem with my TR-4CW. Hopefully someone is able to give me some helpful informations.
First of all, the TR-4CW is not very much used. As new. But suddenly it was not possible by help of the RF tune control to get maximum noise or signal, when it pointed on " 12 o'clock'' +/-. No resonance. The more I turn the RF tune from 5 to 0 the more signal I get, but no resonance. The problem is on 20 and 10 mtr. No problem on 80, 40 and 15 mtr. The problem is not only on receive , but also in transmit mode. That means I can not use the transc. on 20 and 10 mtr. before this is solved. Measurements on Testpoint "TP" related to ground: 80m: 1.26V DC 40m: - 1.60V DC 20m: 1.26V DC 15m: - 1.16V DC 10m: - 0.8V DC What do these values tell you?
