Hello all, I put a TR4 noise blanker into my TR4c. Before it gets fully warmed up, the received audio is "garbly".
It seems to work OK only after a LONG warmup period after being switched "ON". If I leave the NB switch "OFF" and warm up the rig for an hour or two, then turn the NB "ON", it STILL takes another 2 hours to settle down. Apparently the NB ckt itself needs some attention. Can this be adjusted out? I have not 'tweaked' anything yet. Thought I would get some input from the Drakelist. Thanks. 73, Gerald, KB7QQ --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
