Sounds like your root file system is in LogVol01. Makes working on it nearly impossible. A good live-CD with LV tools is rescatux (www.supergrubdisk.org/rescatux). Good luck! I just used it to reorganize some root LVs on RHEL 5. Dan -Original Message- From:
